About the 2026 Honda Prologue

The 2026 Honda Prologue is Honda's first all-electric SUV for the North American market — and a compelling one. Built on an 85 kWh battery, the Prologue offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 308 miles for FWD models and up to 294 miles for AWD models.⁴ With seating for five and an interior built around practicality and comfort, it's Honda's most significant step into the EV era.

Choose from two powertrain configurations: a single-motor front-wheel-drive system producing 220 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque, or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft.^1,2 AWD is available on EX and Touring trims, and is standard on the Elite. All three trims include DC fast charging capability — able to add up to 65 miles of range in just 10 minutes at a compatible charger.⁷

Every 2026 Prologue comes standard with an 11.3-inch color touchscreen powered by Google built-in — giving you seamless access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play Store apps, all manageable by voice.³ An 11-inch digital instrument cluster is also standard across all trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard as well.

HondaLink® connected by OnStar gives you remote climate control, charging status monitoring, and access to a public charging network via the dedicated smartphone app. Honda Sensing® is standard on every trim and includes Forward Collision Alert,⁹ Automatic Emergency Braking,¹⁰ Lane Keep Assist,¹¹ Adaptive Cruise Control,¹² Side Blind Zone Alert and Blind Zone Steering Assist,¹³ Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Braking, and Reverse Automatic Braking.

Touring and Elite trims add a 12-speaker Bose® Premium Audio system. The Elite adds a standard Head-Up Display (HUD) and Surround Vision System.¹⁶

The Prologue's neo-rugged exterior design features full LED lighting and a confident, upright stance built on the longest wheelbase in its class — 121.8 inches. Standard 19-inch alloy wheels are fitted on EX and Touring trims, while the Elite steps up to 21-inch alloy wheels, the largest ever offered on a Honda vehicle.¹⁷

The spacious five-passenger cabin offers up to 25.2 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats in place, expanding to up to 57.7 cubic feet with the seats folded flat.⁸ A clever two-tiered center console provides class-leading storage. Available color options include Sonic Gray Pearl, North Shore Pearl, Sonic Gray Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, and more.

The EX trim offers cloth seating. Touring upgrades to leather-trimmed seating and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Elite offers available perforated leather in multiple color choices, plus illuminated door panels and footwells.

The 2026 Honda Prologue has earned a 5-Star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) — the highest possible rating. The Prologue also received "Good" ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) across multiple crash test categories.
